Most golfers think their issues happen in the swing

They do not. A lot of problems start before the club even moves

And if your setup is off
Your backswing will be off
And your downswing has no chance

What is going wrong

You are using the wrong part of your feet. Too much in your heels. Or too much in your toes

Both kill balance

Both make it harder to move

Why it matters

If you are not in the balls of your feet

You cannot:

  • Move well

  • Use the ground

  • Stay balanced

Everything becomes harder

Fix this first

You need to feel the balls of your feet at setup

That is your starting point

Simple drill

Use an alignment rod

Go: Toes, Heels, Then middle

Find the balls of your feet

Repeat it

Then remove the rod and keep the feel

One takeaway

Bad setup = bad swing

Thanks for reading and watching!
